Welcome to Shetland.

Shetland, the UK's most northerly group of islands and a global Geopark.  Accessed by Northlink Ferries from Aberdeen and also with daily flights from all major Scottish airports operated by Flybe.  It has never been easier to visit Shetland.

Blessed with pristine beaches, stunning scenery and diverse wildlife Shetland has become a popular destination to visit after being highlighted in TV programmes such as Coast, Shetland Diaries by Simon King and more recently by Shetland's own dancing Shetland Pony, Socks.

The famous Shetland knitwear including the Fair Isle pattern is known worldwide and a great time to experience this is the Shetland Wool week which is now in its fifth year.

Shetland is home to numerous historical and archaeological sites such as Jarlshof Prehistoric and Norse Settlement, Mousa and Clickimin Brochs.

With strong Norse connections, Shetland has a unique heritage and this is evident in our famous Viking Fire Festival, Up Helly Aa which takes place in Lerwick on the last Tuesday of January each year.

Our vibrant traditional music scene is world-renowned and celebrated each year through various festivals such as Shetland Folk Festival.

Shetland has something to offer all age groups and our properties are ideally located to allow you to see, visit and experience all of the above and more.
